We are very thankful to Dr Shaw (coincidentally a past member of the 151 gym) for his very kind offer of making available his skin care services for preferrential rates for current 151 members. 

If you have never had your skin checked by a specialist of if you need to be re-tested, Dr Shaw is looking forward to assiting you.

• Dr Shaw recommends using his Remuera practice for as this is the main centre which would be the place any minor procedures would take place.  Remuera has 80 free car parks available for ease of parking.
• Most of his skin care appointments are spread over Thurs, Fri and Sat mornings
• Initial consultations which involve the skin checks take between 10-15mins. Schedule of fees for 151 members only are as follows;
  • No health insurance, normally $175, for you, $100 only
  • Full cover through your health insurance is obviously ‘free’ to you
  • If your policy will only pay a % of the fee, Prof. Shaw will only charge the amount your insurer will cover.
• For follow up consultations it will be best to speak with their reception who can advise about what is covered etc
• Prof James wanted to mention that his pain prevention techniques (if action was deemed necessary) have been honed to a “fine art” after thousands of procedures, so it sounds like you/we will be in very good hands!
