A

Is the club open to the general public? Yes, with preferential rates for tenants of SAP House and many businesses in Auckland's CBD.  Please note that our swim membership can be closed without notice to help control usage volume. Check swim membership status
Do you have short term memberships available? Yes, with increments from 2 weeks to 1, 3, and 6 month options
Are there memberships for just the pool? Yes.  Memberships plus casual swim options, IE. pay for 1 swim at a time. or a 10 swim concession card
I have no idea what to use and how to train in a gym.  Will I get help with a programme and instruction? All members of 151 (excluding swim only members) have access to unlimited health assessments, programme consultations, and design/instruction with the club's instructors.  If you're interested in getting the most out of your training time that you take advantage of regular (every 4-12 weeks) meetings with your instructor to measure your progress and discuss any changes that may be needed with your training routine.

Can I transfer my membership? Yes.  please refer to our terms and conditions page
How long is the pool? 2 lanes are 25 meters long, 1 lane is 15 meters long.
How deep is the pool? A constant depth of approximately 1.3 meters deep
What temperature is the pool? Winter 27 -28 degrees Celsius, Summer 26.5 - 27
Can I bring a guest along to the club? Yes. Our guest or "casual" rates can be found here
What forms of payments are accepted? Cash, cheques, eftpos, all major credit cards
What are the busiest and quietest days in the club? An overview of each day is listed on this page
Does 151 have classes? Yes. No current dedicated group exercise room, but we successfully use the pool surround in winter and the deck adjacent to the tennis court in the warmer months
Are lockers available? No. The changing rooms are equipped with cubby holes and we have secure facilities at reception for members who would like to lock things away while visiting.  Our laundry service does offer storage options.
Can I bring my children in to use the club. Yes, if they are aged 16 years or older.
What date do my monthly instalments come out? The club runs its direct debits on the 20th of each month or the next business day if on a weekend or public holiday
As a member of 151, do I get reciprocal rights to any other gyms? We currently have 1 health club we have reciprocal rights with located in Wellington's CBD.  For more information contact us
Can I bring in a personal trainer not connected to the club Unfortunately we do not allow any personal trainers that are not contractors of the club to provide their service within the club.
Will I have to wait for equipment during busy times The majority of the time no you will not have to wait.  We have a self imposed membership ceiling to ensure our members do not have to wait for gear and have plenty of space to move around in.
What do I need to bring for my first appointment? For your initial health assessment meeting, comfortable exercise gear, trainers and drink bottle.  If you intend to sign up on that day also, and if you are intending to select to pay by monthly instalments, please bring in your account number for the direct debit form and method for paying your first month in advance.
