Yvette’s selfless character, positive attitude, drive, and personality started shining through during her high school years. She was a high achiever, voted for by her peers to the post of prefect, house captain and deputy head girl.
Drawn to the health and fitness sector during her studies, Yvette took-up several roles in the industry starting in 1991. She takes great pride in her achievements at the Olympic Pools and Fitness Centre, where she helped set up the personal training programme and build business for the centre’s gym. This laid a useful foundation when she transferred to 151 to work as an instructor, trainer and manager. When the time came to start a family, she handed the reins over to her husband, Mike.
Yvette returned to work soon after her second child and with Mike, purchased the club in August 2005. She keeps up with what’s going on by mixing with club members and working as a part-time personal trainer, along with managing the company accounts and her daughter’s school netball team. |
